It seems fitting...

...to end the year with this outstanding poem! In the November Christian Science Journal, 2020, is the following poem celebrating not only the bravery of the Pilgrims, the courage of those seeking a way to worship as divinely led, but also "Truth's blazing light."

This blazing light of Truth, brought to humanity by Mary Baker Eddy through her discovery of Christian Science, is a light that leads each one in their path toward God.

While 2020 may go down in history as a year to remember for all its upsets, pandemic, shutdowns and lockdowns, its medical prognoses and diagnoses, its gains and losses, may we not remember it for its forceful emphasis on fighting to worship as we wish, for our stand for human and divine rights, and for its challenge to our country to remain free, for its impulse pushing each of us to a stand to keep church doors open?
