Christian Science Class Instruction is a twelve session course taught by an authorized Christian Science teacher (CSB). While each Class is taught differently due to the differences in teachers all base the instruction on the chapter Recapitulation from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. In my Class the student learns about God, man made in God’s image and likeness, Christ Jesus, the Holy Ghost, the human and mortal mind, evil, animal magnetism, and how to heal by giving Christian Science treatment. I thoroughly cover and elucidate everything that is discussed in the chapter Recapitulation. I welcome any question you may have concerning Class so feel free to contact me. If you’ve heard of Class Instruction you may have also heard of the annual meeting of students called an Association. This is an added one-day course of Class that continues the student’s education in Christian Science. It is compulsory. On this day all the students gather together to learn more about the subjects covered in Class, but now they are developed even more fully and deeply. Each teacher naturally discusses the spiritual ideas he feels are pertinent to the student’s spiritual advancement, and from a healing, scientific perspective. My Association meeting is always on a Saturday and is a full day of continuing education. Students are encouraged to send in questions or topics they would like discussed during the day. Association uplifts, heals, and strengthens the student spiritually so that their own practice of Christian Science will be successful. The student should expect to be able and willing to take patients publicly after Class Instruction.
